  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Our mission is to help people live happier, more fulfilling lives.

Our approach

Therapeutic approaches are tailored to the individual, based on evidence-based treatments. Specific techniques utilised may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness and self-compassion.

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere, in a contemporary purpose-designed space. Our reception area and therapy rooms are calming spaces, where we invite you to relax and feel safe. At Discourse, we pay attention to the details, because we believe that the small things matter.

Our values

We are big believers of putting in the time and care in doing what we do; doing things the right way and treating people right.

We are committed to providing genuine and compassionate therapeutic care to our clients. Our carefully curated team of psychologists and therapists are skilled and passionate about what they do and truly care about the outcomes for clients.

The therapeutic relationship is a powerful predictor of therapeutic outcomes.

Relationships matter

Our work is about helping people mend their relationships, with themselves and with those around them - and an important part of that equation is getting the relationship between the client and their therapist right.

Experience has shown us that a successful therapeutic alliance is dependent on finding the ‘right fit’ of therapist and client. This requires a delicate balance, of values, skillset, client needs, life experiences and ultimately personality.

In order to achieve this balance, we take the time to get to know you, and to ensure that the care you receive is suited to your individual needs.

The hard thing to do and the right thing to do, are usually the same.
